PAUL FREEMAN – Bass

Paul Freeman was an original member of the Keiron Anderson Orchestra, one of England’s premier showbands throughout the late 70’s and 80’s. The band travelled extensively around the world with contracts taking them to the Middle East, Scandinavia and South Africa, backing many household names. A long term association with Cunard Cruise Line extended their international experience to include North and South America and the Mediterranean. This eventually lead to a residency in Southern Spain where the band owned and operated their own night club.

Moving back to the UK in the late 80’s, Paul joined the well known band City Lights – a top attraction on the corporate circuit playing at prestigious hotels throughout Europe. He also taught bass guitar and was involved with the session scene in Manchester.

Since moving with his family to Canada in 1996, Paul has created a successful freelance graphic design business and has played and recorded with many fine blues, R&B and jazz musicians in the Vancouver area. Over the years, Paul occasionally gigged with Ruth and Sheldon and officially joined the Bradley McGillivray band in 2004.
